I was the youngest resident at Avery Park despite this I was given exceptional care and was treated with a huge amount of respect by the staff and residents of Avery Park. I was on respite care after a brain operation at the hospital and was feeling very poorly when I got here but I really enjoyed my stay and do not want to leave!

Mum has settled very well and is noticeably happier and healthier than she was before she moved in. Almost a surprise to us all as she was keen to stay in her own home and was not expecting to enjoy it here as much as she has. It’s now become her home and she is enjoying living here very much.

Hi, I’m Leander Pyke, Home Manager of Avery Park Care Home

I have over 20 years experience within the care industry, working with the elderly and adults with Learning disabilities, I joined Avery Park in 2021 as Deputy manager before progressing to Home manager this year. I pride myself on doing my very best to ensure the safety and happiness of all residents, staff and visitors. Working with the elderly is both rewarding and humbling and I am proud to be part of such an amazing team that all have such great values and ambitions. Caring for and supporting others is not just a job, it’s a privilege.

We provide residential care, both long-term and short-term respite care, as well as dementia care.

Avery Park Care Home has 119 ensuite rooms, 10 of which are companion suites.
