Braintree Mews, our luxury care home based in Braintree, Essex, is celebrating a wonderful milestone. We opened our doors in the summer of 2023, and have collected only positive reviews in the first year of operation. This has led to a 10/10 review score from carehome.co.uk, which is a completely independent care home review site.
The reviews mention our caring staff going above and beyond, the extensive activities calendar, and the exceptional food! We couldn’t be prouder of the team at Braintree Mews, who have worked tirelessly in the first year of operation. Their hard work and commitment to maintaining the high standards of an Artisan Care Home have paid off.

“A big thank you to the Braintree Mews Care Home team for looking after my father during 17 days of respite care so that the family could take my mother on a much-deserved holiday. It’s fair to say things turned out a little more challenging than expected however my father was well looked after and staff were more than happy for us to call and speak to them every day when we couldn’t get through directly using my father’s phone. Whilst my father was thankful to all staff and made some good friends, the family have to give special mention to one staff member in particular who went above and beyond to look after my father and keep us updated of how things were going whilst we were away. I undertook a post-stay review with my father in the week following his return home and other than making constant mention of the fantastic food that he had during his stay, he simply noted 10/10. Bottom line: Our family would feel more than comfortable with my father staying at Braintree Mews again in the future.”

The accommodation is of the highest level, akin to a five-star hotel with all the very stylish comforts of home. The variety and quality of food are excellent with the menus being well thought through. The staff are very caring whilst remaining professional and personable. There is also an extensive and applicable activities programme. I would highly recommend this care home.

A wonderfully inviting atmosphere, a caring and talkative team and great coffee! Everyone makes you feel welcome, remember your name and is always willing to help with anything you need when you visit. I feel comfortable visiting and very happy and confident that my nan is well cared for. It’s obvious she’s getting the love, care and attention she needs.
