The Braintree Mews Care Home team have been running a competition with their local schools to rename their cafe. They’ve announced their winner, and are delighted to announce that Notley Green Primary School has now renamed the cafe ‘Views from Mews!’.
Primary schools all over Braintree entered the competition in the hopes of being a part of Braintree Mews history. We had some fantastic suggestions, but the favourite in the end was ‘Views from Mews’.
The Head Boys and Girls of Notley Green Primary School, along with their headteachers, came to Braintree Mews Care Home to unveil our brand new plaque. We also rewarded their creativity with a donation to a charity of their choice, which was Diabetes UK.
The Braintree Mews Care Team love projects like this that connect the care home with the wider community. It enables our residents to see new faces and meet new people, as well as bringing the children in to see the older members of their neighbourhood.
Artisan Care Homes would like to thank everyone who entered into our competition, and to give a huge well done to Notley Green Primary School on their win!
