We are delighted to announce that Saxon Manor has recently completed their minibus training. This exciting development opens up a world of opportunities for our residents, allowing them to enjoy greater freedom and independence.
Outings in our minibus are included in the cost of residency in a care home, so it’s key for each of our homes to be able to offer a wide range of outings and activities as part of the activity calendar. Other homes have been able to bring their residents to the seaside, on health walks, or on shopping trips.
We understand the importance of maintaining connections with the local community, and our minibus will facilitate this. We plan to organise regular trips to local attractions, such as museums, parks, and historical sites. These outings will enrich our residents’ lives, allowing them to discover new places and reminisce about old times.
Our minibus is also equipped with wheelchair access, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the benefits of these outings. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to explore and experience the world around them, and our minibus is a symbol of our commitment to inclusivity.
